So - John McCain said he would defer to the top military brass if they said that "don't ask don't tell" was no longer effective. This week the top military brass said that DADT is no longer effective and McCain responds by accusing them of not respecting Congress and making the wrong decision. And all of this happens a week after his wife poses for a photo shoot with the No H8 people (http://www.noh8campaign.com).
Has the dementia finally set in? Or is this just another stupid game the Republicans have decided to play? I swear I don't remember Congress being quite so immature. Sure, they have always been an interesting bunch to watch, but right now I feel like I need to go grab some of these people by their ears, force them to sit down and behave like good little preschoolers. Jeesh.
